Featuring both tenor and soprano horns, the leader lends his unique blend of passion and taste to compositions by Duke Ellington, Sonny Rollins, Richard Rodgers and Vernon Duke. Strong rhythmic support comes from bassist Cecil McBee, drummers Billy Hart and Don Moye, and John Hicks at the piano. An outstanding analog recording that both audio and jazzphiles will treasure!
