Suzanne Vega celebrated the 25th anniversary of her breakthrough 1987 album Solitude Standing with a live concert at London’s Barbican on October 16, 2012. The concert is broken into two volumes. The first volume comprises the anniversary performance of Solitude Standing in its entirety and includes takes on the definitive numbers “Gypsy,” “Luka,” “Tom’s Diner” and the title cut while the second installment compiles performances of further classics from the remainder of Vega’s rich catalog like “Blood Makes Noise,” “Marlene On The Wall,” “Caramel,” “In Liverpool” and “Rosemary.”
